Post Rehabilitation Recovery Training
  • Defined: This type of training focuses on movements and movement patterns designed to facilitate the rehabilitation of orthopedic concerns. Typically, clients are seen after physical therapy is complete, or in the process of receiving physical therapy.
  • Movements are based on joint mechanics, severity of injury or disease, stage of recovery from surgery or physical therapy, scar tissue development, and muscular atrophy associated with injury.
  • Joint strength and mobility (ROM) are the primary concerns of this type of training.
